On a crisp February day in Italy, Hütte and the Casagrande Group were pleased to welcome representatives from Van Elle for the handover of two state-of-the-art Hütte HBR 206 vertical drilling and piling rigs.
Over recent months, Hütte & Casagrande UK have collaborated closely with the Van Elle team to design and specify a fully bespoke machine configuration, precisely tailored to their drilling and piling requirements across multiple disciplines and markets. This development builds on Van Elle’s continued success with Hütte equipment, such as the HBR203D, HBR205MP and HBR207MP mini piling rigs.
These highly versatile machines are capable of delivering large-diameter SFA, auger and cased drilling for confined-access or hard‑to‑reach locations, as well as large-diameter DTH applications.
Each unit has been supplied with concrete kits, together with full capability for conventional rod- and casing-based (DTH) drilling supported by 3" air systems.
Van Elle now takes delivery of equipment ready to perform across a wide range of challenging ground engineering environments.

The Hütte 200 Series platform is a highly adaptable range of machines designed to handle multiple drilling and piling disciplines. The series includes models from 8 tons with 32kNm of torque, up to 30 tons delivering 100kNm of torque.
