Casagrande Specialised Tunnelling Equipment
The C7T XP-2 is equipment for fore poling in tunnel works. Casagrande have designed and developed machinery that would enable perfectly aligned holes to be drilled quickly and economically horizontally, inclined and rotationally in a tunnel formation.
The machines were designed on on a highly manoeuvrable hydraulic base carriers, long horizontal masts, supported by two telescopic columns that would permit the angle of inclination of the mast to be set to the alignment of the tunnel. The two telescopic columns are mounted to ring gears that permit the rotation of the mast by 180° and in some cases more.
