Casagrande UK are the sole UK supplier for Lumesa SA

Lumesa AG is a reliable partner to the civil engineering industry with over 40 years of experience and Casagrande UK is proud to be their UK agent. Development, assembly and service departments are based in Lumino (Switzerland) and production has been outsourced to Swiss suppliers. This guarantees high quality and short delivery times. Lumesa SIG MOUNTY drilling machines have been supplied globally since the launch of the first light drill masts in 1980. This was following a demand for light and easy to handle machines for construction of alpine avalanche protection structures. The SIG MOUNTY brand of pneumatic drill masts were developed and have been used for dams, weirs, tunnels, bridges and historic buildings.

In 1992 the SIG MOUNTY 92H hydraulic drill mast was introduced to the market. In the same year, the company took part for the first time at the Bauma trade fair in Munich, which was the starting point for sales in neighbouring Europe. 30 machines were delivered for reconstruction of the city of Prague.

In 2001, Lumesa SA obtained an ISO certification and an EU certification from the Munich Civil Engineering Association.

In 2018, Lumesa AG was incorporated by Küchler Technik AG. This integration was key to ensure the continuity of the company and to develop and expand its customer base.
